Working with Precuts

You’ve seen them in quilt shops and online, and maybe even bought a few. But what do you do with precuts now that you have them? Precuts are a fun and great way to get a jump start on your next project. Jessica will discuss the wonderful variety of precuts that are available and how you can turn them into something beautiful. You’ll be amazed by what you can create with precuts, and you’ll love Jessica’s fun and down-to-earth teaching style. Maybe your next quilt will start with a precut! Supplies are not required for a lecture, although you may want to bring a pen and paper to take notes.


Hand Embroidery on Cork

Join Jessica and learn some basic embroidery stitches and all you ever wanted to know about working with cork (real cork backed with a thin layer of fabric)! In class, you will make a simple notebook cover (choose from many designs). You can take these skills and apply them to so many other projects! Jessica’s teaching style is fun and relaxed, ensuring you have a wonderful and inspiring afternoon.

Thank you so much for this article by Jessica Van Denburgh. For YEARS and YEARS, I’ve wanted to find the 2-slide zippers. Asked at stores, zipper specialists, and many more. Finally I gave up. Your mention that ByAnnie is the source you use is like Christmas in March. Thank you! Different lengths, many colors, and so much more. Your tutorial was great, direct and to the point, too, but the big bennie for me is the source of the zippers I’ve wanted for so long. Much appareciated!
