Dresden Sunflower Quilt

52″ x 52″

You can make your own cheerful Dresden Sunflower quilt with Kimberly’s step-by-step pattern.

Kimberly Einmo took inspiration from her time living in Germany where she fell in love with the sunflower crops.

“I was most surprised with the seemingly endless fields of sunflowers that bloom profusely in late summer. Sunflowers are a staple crop in Germany as well as a popular addition to almost every backyard garden. Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers, too, so I just had to make a sonnenblumen (German for sunflower) quilt. Because Dresden is a city rich with history and tradition, I chose the traditional Dresden Fan and Dresden Plate blocks for the design.”

Thank You, very pretty

Thank you so much for this quilt pattern. I am new at quilting and want to try something simple. Hopefully this will work for me. Again thank you.

Beautiful pattern, thank you, I love sun flowers.

I love sunflowers and this will be a welcome challenge to try and piece together. Thank you for sharing.
