You Can Quilt Blog HopDon’t miss the You Can Quilt! Building Skills for Beginners Blog Hop. Marlene Oddie of KISSed Quilts and ten other Island Batik Ambassadors, along with co-author Leila Gardunia (Sewn by Leila), have been working hard to organize and provide this blog hop. What a treat!

“I’m excited to share the blocks in our book in these vibrant Island Batik fabrics. I hope it will inspire you to get the book, learn some tips and become a more confident piecer.” – Marlene

Over the next four weeks, each blogger will highlight one Skill Builder Set from the book and make one to three quilt blocks from that set. If you’re interested in the book or in building your quilting skills, you’ll see some great ideas in all of the posts! The bloggers are using fabrics that won’t be released until fall quilt market, so it’s also a sneak peek.

You Can Quilt!AQS is excited about this new book. It’s the ultimate beginner’s handbook. You’ll not only learn skills, but also increase difficulty levels within each chapter. Click HERE to purchase You Can Quilt! Building Skills for Beginners so you can follow along with the projects page by page!

I probably should start with basics- but have played around with sewing (not as much quilting) for awhile 😉
