Unique Ideas for Guilds!

0

invitedThe Colorado Modern Quilt Guilds are gathering for a Show and Tell! Isn’t this a fabulous idea that any guild could try for a blended guild get-together?

Of course, most guilds have their own show and tell during meetings. But how about a more formal show and tell like this, a mini-quilt show, at a shop with other guilds in attendance? With quilts hanging and food! (Just guessing about that food thing.)

This fun event is happening soon and has room for more quilts, so if you’re in the area, please join in the fun!

What unique events does your guild have? Do you enjoy unusual quilt retreats? Would you like to share some ideas with AQS OnPoint readers? Just comment below!

The Peace River Quilters Guild is going to enjoy Horrible Happenings at the Winery, a quilt murder mystery dinner at their retreat in Feb. This is the second one they’ve done. I publish the mysteries. About 90 Guilds have done them for retreats, special events and fund raisers. My web site has pictures of a number of the events. All the details of the event are also on the web site, It is truly a unique event for quilters.

A modern quilt guild in Columbus,Ohio area?

Rebecca’s Reel Quilters located in Middletown NJ will have their Quilt Show May 13 and 14, 2016 at Poricy Park, Oak Hill Road, Middletown, NJ. We are located at the Jersey Shore. The park is lovely that time of year for the children as well. Hope to see you there. Judy
