Tribute to a Peaceful Quilter: Rusty Hedrick

Virginia “Rusty ” Hedrick may have been a banker by profession, a community leader, and a loving mother, but she was also a skilled artisan. Rusty, who founded the Inland Empire Quilter’s Guild and invented and patented a quilt frame, also knew the value of quiet stitching.

With sadness, we note that Rusty passed away on September 7, 2014.

As you watch this video, take a moment to be thankful for all of the quilters throughout the years who hand-stitched a solid foundation for quilting today.
