Traditional Quilts, Blocks, and April Show & Tell Projects

This month we worked on traditional quilts with a focus on bed quilts. Take a look at the amazing quilts from our show and tell Facebook group, Project Parade. Quilters shared current projects, what was on their beds, and progress on the Countdown to Paducah blocks.

Be part of the fun and join us on our Project Parade Facebook group. We love to see what you are up to!

Learn more about the Quilt 2018 Project. Next week the new quilting style will be announced.

I like the quilt that Carol Krause posted and would like to know how she constructed it. Is it possible to contact her?

Helene, Carol is a member of the Project Parade group on our facebook page. You could contact her through that. Here is a link to the group:

What a breath of fresh air! Seeing traditional patterns made up, also the report on how people regarded hand quilting. I still do hand quilting, but have gone to machine quilting as I will never be able to finish all my quilts if I stick to hand quilting. I do not like quilts which are “modern” style. They look too much as nightmares. I don’t like modern paintings, either, and for the same reason.
