Want to learn something new? There are many classes at AQS QuiltWeek® – Phoenix, Arizona 2014 that will have you at the top of the class…
Technology at its best:
Mary Ellen Kranz will be teaching Photoshop Elements for Fabric Artists. If you have ever been afraid of the BIG Photoshop program, then this is the class for you. Adobe® Photoshop® Elements 11 software is not difficult to learn and you’ll be able to crop and re-size your own photos, and do lots of other fun things with your photos using Photoshop Elements.
Then, have fun designing your own quilts in EQ7 Quick Start, and EQ7 – Beyond the Basics, also taught by Mary Ellen Kranz.
She’ll also teach Photo-Inspired Quilts Using EQ7 where you’ll learn how to insert your own photos into your quilts.
And, if that isn’t enough, Mary Ellen will do a lecture/demonstration for the NEW program by Electric Quilt in her class, Intro to EQStitch. This is an EQ plug-in for designing and digitizing their own designs. Home machine stitchers can use EQStitch to make their own designs come to life in embroidery, machine appliqué, quilting, and redwork. If you want to learn what EQStitch does before you buy the program, this lecture/demo is just the place to learn.
