Spotlight: Block Party Studios

6

Meet Block Party Studios and learn about their passion for original hand printed fabrics! If you are looking for that something special to add to your next quilt, take a look at their thoughtful, endearing, and funny panels. There’s a little something for everyone.

I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to introduce our business to you. We are Block Party Studios, located in rural central Iowa in the small town of Nevada.

We specialize in hand printed fabric panels celebrating Faith, Family, Fun & Friendship!

Jeanne Coverdale began Block Party Studios by printing fabrics in her basement. Over the last twenty years, we have grown, changing locations twice and then, building a new facility. Unfortunately, Jeanne passed on in 2011, since then, Dani bought the business and continues to run it with the same passion and ethics that Jeanne did.

Our facility in Nevada houses production, sales, and our beautiful showroom. We offer classes, love to give tours, and can accommodate large groups and buses.  In our showroom you will find tons quality quilting fabrics, handy notions, and of course our hand printed fabric panels and custom patterns.

From start to finish, each panel is produced one at a time and all by hand.

Take a look…

I have always loved the Block Party Studio designs ever since the first “What Quilters Really Think” series of panels! I made a cover for my fat quarter storage box using them and pieced selvedge squares. I still have a bunch that I want to add to mug rugs and one with the Psalms that I plan to use in a quilt for a relative. Wonderful way to add words to quilts!
