She’s Still Stitching at 106!

Everyone in Mapleton, North Dakota, knows Myrtle Farrell.  The “quilt maker” in their small town is 106 years old and still cuts and sews baby quilts every day! She has made 300 quilts in the last three years.

Myrtle Farrell is an inspiration to all of us older quilters. I have a large stash of fabric and am often told I will never live long enough to use it all up. Well, Myrtle is proof I just might. Quilt on Myrtle!
