Print this foundation once to construct a 6˝ potholder like the ones made by Ricky Tims in the April 2011 issue of TQL. Print it twice if you wish to make a two-sided Log Cabin potholder, or print as many times as you like if you’d like to make a quilt top of little Log Cabin blocks.
Ricky used his hand-dyed fabrics: bright red in the center square, bright colored logs on two adjacent sides, and dark, cool neutrals for the other two adjacent sides. Feel free to experiment with your color combinations!
Be sure to visit Ricky Tims and see what he has been up to lately!
