After being inspired by Fran Gonzalez’s online EQ classes at www.QuiltUniversity.com, last year I organized an Electric Quilt self-help bee group in the Denver area. We’ve been meeting twice a month for a year, bringing laptops, manuals, and current projects to each meeting. All eight members were so impressed with the recent red and white quilt exhibit in New York City that we decided to make a red and white bee group quilt (featuring our original EQ-designed blocks) for exhibit in our local guild’s 2012 show. I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun this has been. Here is one of the blocks I designed using Serendipity. In fact, I’ve designed so many new blocks that I’ll have to make my own red and white quilt.
Do you EQ? I’d love to see your red and white blocks.
