The ducks are coming back to Paducah in 2016!
They are bright yellow, cuter by the hundreds, and make a big splash. One of the fun sanctioned events at AQS QuiltWeek in Paducah is the Paducky Derby, a fundraising event to benefit the Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center. Join us for this exclusive event on Saturday, April 23 as 10,000 ducks race on the Noble Park lake at 3:00 p.m. Join in the fun and you could be the winner of some fantastic prizes!
The proceeds will assist the general operations of the Merryman House, which provides free and confidential services to victims of domestic violence and their children. The MHDCC serves nearly 600 victims per year, and is committed to their motto, “Saving, Building and Changing the lives of those we serve!” For more information about the MHDCC, visit www.merrymanhouse.org.

Come to Noble Park to see all the ducks as they float to the finish line. The winning duck’s “adoptive parent” will receive a Grand Prize of $2,500. Second place will win $1,000, and the 3rd place prize is $500. Adopt one duck for $5 or buy them by the “quack pack.”
Let’s all help the Merryman House! Anyone can enter. You’ll find the Paducky booth in the main lobby at the Paducah QuiltWeek event. Follow them on Facebook, too! See you at Noble Park as we cheer on our little quackers!
