What is the New Quilts from an Old Favorite contest? Many quilters remember sleeping under a quilt made by their mother or grandmother, and many of those quilts were made from time-honored traditional quilt designs. Today’s quiltmakers are challenged annually by The National Quilt Museum to create original quilts based on classic block patterns. The theme for 2016 is New York Beauty! The deadline is November 2, 2015. Here’s the ENTRY FORM. Why not give it a try?
