Judy has been quilting since the early 1980’s. Though she started out as a hand piecer and hand quilter, all of her quilts are now machine pieced and machine quilted.
Judy’s favorite quilts are those made using bright fabric, and she uses tone-on-tones almost exclusively.
In addition to quilting, Judy enjoys knitting, gardening, canning, cooking, and caring for the chickens who went to a new home prior to a recent move from Missouri.
Blogging at Patchwork Times keeps Judy busy. She blogs at least once each day and frequently more than once. It’s often about quilting but it’s sometimes about normal daily activities, family, pets, cooking and life in general.
Currently, Judy lives in Brownwood, Texas with her husband Vince, mini-dachshund, Speck, and, she hopes someday soon, more chickens!
