Marie Meade shares her Freedom Eagle quilt. She hand appliqued the eagle except the head which she machine appliqued. She is donating the quilt to the 112th Regiment Association 2018 Reunion. She makes a quilt for them every year as a fund raiser.

Virginia Peterson shares a quilt she saw at the Canadian National History Museum in Ottawa. The 3-4″ squares appear to be stuffed and then sewn together, then the whole thing was appliqued onto backing fabric. Made in 1996.
