Kris Parsons shares, “My son and wife were married on Pi Day this year (yes, they’re both engineers). When I saw the Pi Pillow pattern, I knew it would be the perfect gift for them. I put in a zippered opening for the pillow form and special ordered Pi fabric for the backing. I also quilted the top to make the circle stand out.”

Anne Marcellis shares her SAMMY’S DELIGHT she sent off in the mail to the Houston International Quilt Show, then on to a world tour through August 2019.

Patty Ryan shares a quilt and pillow she made for her precious granddaughter who is in need of a kidney transplant. Patty wrote, “She wanted a quilt that was like her, beautiful and different. She is very pleased with it. It represents all she’s been thru in her young life. Lot of love, tears and prayers sewed into that.”

Margaret Kelley shares her recent quilt, LONE STAR LOG CABIN. Her sister liked it so much, she requested one in blue. Margaret is now busy sewing one in cream and blue!

Peggy Cox shares her 15″ Mini Barn Quilt. She writes, “On the back of it I put triangles in the corner by folding a square in half triangularly and just sewing around the raw edges when putting the bias tape on the edges. That way, can use either a ruler or a dowel or the like for hanging it up on the wall. Can actually even use those ‘Command’ tags too…I placed it on the table like a placemat. I put dishes, etc. on it plus I put the silverware in the bottom corner pockets…when it’s not hanging up on the wall, it can be used as a placemat.”

Holly Ross shares a quilt she presented to her brother-in-law. She writes, “Yesterday I presented my brother in law, Retired Chief Master Sergeant Anthony George Abbot, USAF with this quilt that I designed using his rank patch. I was inspired by Quilts of Valor and presented it with family in a small ceremony. I think he likes it!”
