Welcome to the a very special week of How to Quilt: A Beginner’s Guide. This week we’re pausing to review and celebrate. Last week’s Mitered Frame Napkins marked the last small project of How to Quilt. Up next, we walk through making a quilt from beginning to end. It’s a special quilt full of multiple borders to give us lots of opportunities to practice different border construction skills. But before that, we want to review the units we’ve learned to make so far.
Each of these units give you a basic building block common in quilting patterns. With these, you’re ready to tackle most any quilt out there. Looking at this list makes us feel like celebrating with a unit challenge and giveaway!
We want to see your units! To enter the challenge giveaway, join the How to Quilt AQS Facebook Group and post a picture of your unit (any listed above) mentioning the challenge, or email your unit picture to email@example.com with “How To Quilt” in the subject line. Posting or sending a picture will put your name in a pot for a random drawing to win the Kaffe Fassett Fat Quarter Bundle pictured above.
Entry for the giveaway ends April 29th at 11:59 pm, CDT. A winner will be drawn at random and announced May 1st.

So snap those pictures, brag on yourself a little, and let us celebrate your achievement! And come back next week when we start our last How to Quilt project together.
