Grandma’s Perfect Gift

While this isn’t a quilt, we thought you would enjoy seeing the gift that Elaine received from her 10 month old granddaughter, Ellie.  Elaine is a graphic designer at AQS and it looks like Ellie is following in her “footsteps” (with assistance from her Mommie).

As you can see, the reindeer heads are made from Ellie’s tiny baby footprints! Now, here’s  a gift that will be treasured and is perfect for any grandmother.

Can everyone say “Ahhhhhhhhhhhh”?

What’s your favorite Grandma gift?

I’ve made several of these in a quilted form. Trace the feet and hands on heat N bond. Apply to your choice of fabrics for the ‘deer’ face (feet) and antlers (hands). Embroider the eyes, nose/mouth. These make nice tree skirts with a ‘deer’ made from hands/feet of each family member.

I got a pair for christmas but, they used the handprints for the antlers.
