Free Pattern: Wings of Love

Valentine’s Day is a time filled with hearts, pink and red. Here’s a special Valentine’s Day challenge of the heart – a foundation paper piecing challenge! Start in the middle and work your way out, round and round, until you have completed half of this striking heart. One more half and the two parts are sewn together to make the whole heart.

A special thank you to RaNae Merrill for sharing her pattern for this lovely heart; perfect for Valentine’s Day. Play with the colors and values for a gradated look. Perfect for ombre fabrics!

Download the pattern.

the PDF does not look like the image when I go to download it. I can’t read the instructions because the small heart is also very large on my PDF 🙁

Wow, Joy, you are right. When we click on the link on a PC, it opens fine. When using a MAC, it doesn’t look so good. The good news is, even on the MAC once you go ahead with the download, the PDF opens just fine. Our tech guy is scratching his head on this one. Let us know if you have any more issues. ~ Sylvia Thomas, AQS Social Media Manager

I don’t knw what more you want! This is my correct email address!

Can you give some tech pointers on how to get a “mirror” image to print?

Thank you ever so much for the valentine-themed free patterns. Totally appreciated. My fibre arts group is making 6 x 6″ sinchies to display at our annual show. If I get this ombre one done, what a dazzler!
