- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 box german chocolate cake mix
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 8-ounce package cream cheese
- 1 box confectioners sugar
- Butter the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan and cover with pecans, then coconut.
- Prepare cake mix according to directions on box and pour over pecans and coconut.
- Cream the margarine, cream cheese and sugar; spoon onto cake.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cake top will crack.
