When a traumatic brain injury changed her world, quilting helped AQS member Cindy Greenwell of Magna, Utah, to deal with circumstances that altered her life.
She continues to make quilts—especially enjoying appliqué and hand piecing—simply for the peace and joy of it, as she has for 40 years. She’s made over 60 quilts!
Cindy’s an active member of MyQuiltPlace.com. Her use of vibrant colors and applique shows attention to detail—and fearless use of color! Cindy mentions that she “loves to just mess around” sometimes when she designs quilts. “Don’t ya just love to mess around??” she says with a laugh. “Just grab up your stash and go for it.” Cindy, you do some spectacular “messing”!
