Cutting Instructions:

From the yellow fabric, cut:

(4) 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ squares

(4) 5″ x 5″ squares

(1) 8 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ squares

 

From the background fabric, cut:

(14) 5″ X 5″ squares

 

From the blue fabric, cut:

(4) 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ squares

(14) 5″ x 5″ squares

 

From the magenta fabric, cut:

(4) 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ squares

(20) 5″ x 5″ squares

 

Instructions:

Make half square triangles by marking the back on a 5″ square diagonally, from corner to corner. Place the two squares right sides together and sew a 1/4″ from each side of the marked line. Cut apart on the marked line and press.

Size half square triangles to 4 1/2″ each.

Use the block diagram above to assembly the block in rows.
