AQS Winners Honored in Mississippi

Two past AQS winners, Norma Grissom of Corinth, and Dorothy Dailey from Burnsville, are being honored in their home state of Mississippi by the Mississippi Quilt Association which created a Mississippi Quilt legacy committee.

Quilts by Norma and Dorothy will hang in the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum in Jackson, Mississippi, until October.  Articles recognizing these quilters appeared in the Daily Corinthian newspaper on July 12, and in the Tupelo Daily Journal on July 20.

Congratulations to Norma Grissom and Dorothy Dailey – you have competed with the best and WON!

Thank you Peggy Morrison of Corinth, MS, for sharing this information with AQS.
