What do you do on a beautiful afternoon at a quilt show? In Des Moines, Iowa, today at the AQS Quilt Show, we had the first-ever Quilters Flash Mob.Nearly 200 quilters took part in this spontaneous show and tell on the sidewalk in front of HyVee Hall at the Iowa Events Center.

Here comes the flash mob down 3rd Street.
One group, the Iowa Quilting Internet Friends who meet here every year, even wrote their own little ditty and serenaded all of us. Watch for our video on the  AQS Quilters Flash Mob to hear their song.
